Kernan Yacht Design did surface modeling and composite structures engineering for this Bonneville flats Land Speed Record attempt car. Kernan Yacht Design also provided mesh models for CFD analysis.

The Emergency Rudder shown was a custom design for a 70' sailing vessel planning on doing Transpac. It is fabricated of Aluminum and Stainless Steel. It has been designed such that it is easily assembled and deployed but can also be stowed easily below.

Kernan Yacht Design provided surface modeling for San Francisco's “Millenium” sculpture. The surface was split into roughly 100 sections allowing us to provide developable patterns which were CNC cut and assembled to create a seamless organic sculpture.

Kernan Yacht Design provided the design for the casing of this SCUBA “rebreather.” Surfaces were modeled to extremely high tolerances to insure exact fit of all components and ergonomic suitability. Surface files were provided for molds to be cut with a 5-axis CNC mill.
